Crazy girls

Well, it's not only my girls who have been crazy of late. Life has been a lot like that also. Since my last post we've had school holidays (which were crazy busy) and I've also taken on a contract for two days work a week. I have manged to find snippets of time to work on the odd layout or two. These two layouts are designed to be similar so I have a page for each of may girls' albums. Hope you like them. The background was created by melting crayons onto the background and smoothing it out with a scraper.

Here is a double layout created for a challenge set by a group I'm in. There were three requirements. Purple, orange and triangles. I'm pleased with the results. I got to try some of my new toys and techniques! Thanks for stopping by!

Local Show Success

Welcome, just a quick post to share some exciting news. I submitted quite a few layouts for one of the local shows. I was VERY successful with my submissions. It's so lovely to see layouts I've created admired by the general public (not just friends and family). Here are a couple of photos of my work on display. 

Scrapbooking Day

My hubby has a week off work and so today he is doing the school runs and I have an entire day at home child free to create! Here are some of the layouts I've created today. 

Blue Jeans

Here is a layout of my youngest daughter wearing jeans. It is extremely rare for her to wear anything other than a skirt or a dress. She will only wear them on "mustering day"

iPad App

Okay, so I now own an iPad and thought I'd attempt this blogging thing again. I'm hoping that now that I have the convenience of the iPad sitting on my lap I'll be more likely to share my creations with my followers -not that I have any yet. Lol

Well - I was right. I have been completely neglectful of this blog. Its just too hard to keep it up to date. I will keep this blog though so that maybe - in the future I can have a place to post my creations!
